GOING STRONG IN 2016 - THANK YOU!

We had a busy autumn. This year, Nick shot over 400 amazing portraits of professionals from all kinds of fields. On top of that, we shot a nice selection of really cool brand photos. For Columbia Road, we were happy to shoot all of their identity photos, including press photos, staff portraits, event photos, and some nice shots from their brand new office. Please check out some of the photos from here.

One of this year’s most interesting communications projects was done for the National Opera & Ballet of Finland. Mia held a workshop about employee engagement in LinkedIn, targeted for their communications, marketing, and HR teams. The results were great and there’s more to come in the communications field next year.

We want to thank you all for your cooperation and wish you relaxing holidays and a wonderful New Year 2017!

AB Enzymes - Visualising Enzymes Know-How

We have supported the global communications of AB Enzymes for several years. To further visualize their message of being an innovative and high-quality company with a lot of expertise, we organised brand photo shootings.

"We’ve been very happy to work with Mia, who has concepted and produced e.g. our newsletters for our Detergent Enzyme Solutions' unit for many years now. This year, we also wanted to bring out our people, factories and laboratory facilities in a visual way, and thus organized brand photo shootings with Tulinen & Partners. The photos present our own employees and working environment in a fresh and internationally appealing way.”

PHOTO BOOTH @ WORK GOES HAPPY, HELSINKI

A few weeks ago, we participated to the colorful and fun Work goes Happy fair, held in Helsinki, Finland. This time, we shot free portraits of more than a hundred people.

Great business portraits make companies easier to approach and have a positive impact on the atmosphere at the work place.

"We love to take portraits of all kinds of people. With this project, we wanted to show how easy and fun this could really be with us. The result is again pretty amazing,” explains photographer Nick Tulinen

Jyri Kansikas, the man behind Work goes Happy, was happy to co-operate with Tulinen & Partners Photo Booth.

“Tulinen & Partners received lots of positive attention and their Photo Booth was fun and highly energizing part of our fair.”

Kysely: Laatu ja helppous nousivat henkilöstökuvaamisen ykkösiksi

Toteutimme maaliskuun alussa kyselyn henkilöstökuvaamiseen liittyen. Kyselyyn vastasi yhteensä 43 vastaajaa eri organisaatioista. Muotokuvauksen Teurastamolla sijaitsevalla studiollamme voitti Satu Ikonen-Williams, Euroopan Metsäinstituutista.

"On vaikeaa saada eri maihin yhtenäisiä kuvia – kokeiltu on!"

SURVEY – CORPORATE PORTRAITS: HIGH QUALITY AND EASINESS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

What are the main features corporates want when choosing a photographer? To find out, we conducted a survey in March, 2016. We got 43 responses from both big and small organizations. The lucky winner of a studio photo shoot was Satu Ikonen-Williams from European Forest Institute

Congratulations for the winner and thanks for everyone who participated – we want to develop our service to match your needs.

Great customer service and top level skills

In our survey, the most important criteria for choosing a photographer were the high quality of the photos and the easiness of the project. Most of the respondents (81 per cent) also wished that the photos would bring out organizations’ visual identity and corporate culture. Furthermore, it’s important that the photographer uses both time and skills to get the best possible portrait of each person. “It would be great if we also got some more relaxed but good-quality photos of our staff to be used e.g. in social media.”

“We would like to get our photos in several sizes to be used in banners, headers or other places.”

"It’s difficult to keep the photo gallery consistent when your organization works in several continents – we’ve tried this!”

CASE: PERSONAL BRANDING WITH A PORTRAIT

Angel Investor Touko Kontro wanted to enhance his personal brand in social media channels with a stylish portrait. Touko had previously decided not to use his picture in social media. A great photo was a good way to update his profile as an angel investor in a professional and sincere way.

“We had a fun session with Touko and got some great insider business tips – welcome again for a cup of coffee!”

The photo shoot was organized at the Tulinen & Partners studio.
